Volunteering

As members of the Recovery Connections team, volunteers get involved in all sorts of ways. The opportunities available vary greatly from supporting the running of activity and support groups to supporting our administration and reception teams. Our volunteers also contribute to promoting Recovery across a number of community hubs around Middlesbrough and even in supporting quarterly recovery events for the local community.

Recovery Connections have been fortunate to have the invaluable support form a range of volunteers from different backgrounds. We could not provide the range of services and support to our service users without our volunteers.

We take volunteering seriously; are committed to providing the best training and support we can for volunteers and expect the highest standards from them. From 2015-2016 our volunteers contributed over 7,000 hours of their own time, skills and experience to supporting of service users and our service.

In 2016 we achieved Investors in Volunteering status in recognition of our high standards of support and opportunities for volunteers.

We are really grateful for the support of volunteers and hope that volunteers get the most out of their time with us.

If you would like to find out more or get involved please just get in touch or why not pop in to visit and take those next steps towards joining our team.
